The description states that this will shut off immediately after 10 seconds of last activity - even so, these shut off right after 30 seconds of no activity. Really, immediately after 30 seconds it dims down slowly then fully shuts off (looks sort of cool how it does that as well).
It has a very nice style, and you can angle the light panel to the position you want. What I did to install one light up rapidly on a ceiling and a different on a wall was to use heavy duty sticky back velcro strips. Operates like a charm. These lights are pretty handy and even my picky husband likes them.
I hunted all more than town for these lights (Target, Kmart, Walmart, Fred Meyers, Dwelling Depot, and Lowes) but no one particular carried them nor had they even heard of these kind of lights! All they carried were really small plug in 1 to 3 LED kind lights. Don't they know that not all hallways or closets have plug in outlets? it is reasonably vibrant, the light fade as time elapse, like turning off slowly. battery life appears to be rather fine. but the angle and range of detection is pretty restricted. there are superior merchandise out there.
